Ratshot Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 (edited) Here's my first ever Military MOC, a World War II British Army Transport. Unfortunately I don't have any Tommies to go with it so I stuck an adventure guy in to substitute. Some of the details are based on the Indiana Jones truck. The front at an angle. Dead on. Sideways. The machine gun. The cab. Please comment, Rat Edited July 2, 2011 by Rufus Indexed Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Not bad at all 'Ratshot' - you could of used Johnny Thunder as an Aussie Desert Rat driving it I guess ! I like the machine gun mounted on the truck - very nice swiss cheese maker ! What vehicle is it based on if any or is it purely your own creation ? Anyway great design job and I'm a conformist! 'Ratshot' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Capt. Stabbin Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Nice job on your first military moc. I can imagine the troops in the back contemplating the battle ahead, I am reminded of a saying I herd somewhere " Men 50 of you are heading out, 25 of you are not coming back!" Keep Bricking!! Quote
Ratshot Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Rats!!!! I just realized that I forgot to add a steering wheel What vehicle is it based on if any or is it purely your own creation ? Thank you. I remember seeing a pic of a couple of British soldiers running beside a truck during the Battle of El Almein, unfortunately though I can't remember were I saw it I'll have to go read some old war books. Nice job on your first military moc. Thanks Quote
Ratshot Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Nice! Was there a steering wheel? Of course, it was a truck. I built this with a steering wheel but made some last minute modifications and forgot to add it. Quote
