diehardfan@4 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Bought this for my 5 yr old who is crazy about lego sets. But am at my wits end, can't figure out how to get started, since no instruction sets are given out with this set. Please help, would really appreciate your help !! There are 5 picture cards provided with the set which has 1176 pieces and these pieces are all scattered everywhere. They don't come grouped together in packets like you would expect in a set for CITY etc. Quote
Modulex Guy Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Well, that is what you get from LEGO Education, A box of random bricks with a few extra pieces, in this case wheels, windscreens, airplane bits etc. and since these sets are made for classrooms, the kids are to be taught about building, the teacher shows the kids some basic building techniques and the kids use their imaginations from there. The education sets are no more than basic brick sets with a few more specialty bits thrown in. I've ordered loads of things from LEGO Education Division before and thats exactly what it is designed for, many of these sets or part lots don't even have a box, they come shipped in a large mixed bag in a shipping box or a plain cardboard box. Hope that answered your question. Quote
FinalFeature Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 The education sets are built by using your imagination. The box is to give you a idea on what you can build. I hope this helps. LegoGalactus Quote
