xilefsson Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 (edited) I built a wooden submarine for my favourites, the crownies. It is stored and maintained in a secret base with an underwater entrance. Submarine only Submarine opened Hope you like it! Edited March 25, 2010 by xilefsson Quote
General Redwater Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Nice!!! It reminds me of the turtle built by David Bushnell during the American Revolution. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 "In the town, where I was born, lived a ma-an, who sailed to sea. And he told us of his life, in the land of, submarines..."-Ringo Starr I like this. It has a nice cozy feeling. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Different....very different, but very good 'xilefsson' ! I wonder how deep it would travel and how it's powered too ? Good design job there and I'm a conformist! 'xilefsson' ! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I find this to be pretty clever - and creative. I'm not sure how air-tight it is , but it's neat to see a Medieval submarine (sort of a Da Vinci-like creation). It has that Steam Punk look about it. I like the use of the half barrels at each end, and the entire scene with it underwater looks nice (although I think you should add some additional underwater greenery). Good job! Now lets take a deep dive to see how this thing handles: Quote
