Kahgarak Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 You need these pieces: 1X 2X 1X 1X 1X 1X Attach the big black Muaka nose to the first piece using one #2 axle. The first piece should be attached with the round hole to the back axle hole of the Muaka nose. Grab the yellow piece (can be in any color, this piece will be the face plate) and put the last pictured piece in the bottom hole, with the towball facing the flat side. Now attach what you now have to the small black piece that you just attached to the Muaka nose. Attach the fifth pictured piece to the other axle hole in the nose piece, using the second #2 axle. You may attach a Ball Connector to the neck axle,if you wish. Sorry if my instructions sound confusing,if anyone builds it,please provide us a picture until i get off my lazy behind and make pics myself. Believe me,the result is great for using on mechs. Kahgarak Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 What? TT Just turn the face plate upside down and facing the other way. So that the towball touches the neck axle. Then you got it. Quote
Kahgarak Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 You got it right. The two remaining holes on the faceplates are supposed to be eyes, and the Muaka nose is supposed to contain its ''brain'' (programming center). Again, really sorry if its confusing. Quote
rew12 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Umm... Kahgarak, could you post any pictures? Quote

Chuck Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 My reaction is the same as TT's. It dosn't really resemble a mecha head that much. You'd be better off building a mecha head out of bricks. -l2k- Quote
Kahgarak Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 But i didnt, because i dont have much bricks. Quote
Chuck Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 But i didnt, because i dont have much bricks. Good technic mechs are pretty rare, as most people prefer brickbuilt mecha. I would suggest buying more lego sets to beef up your collection. Personally, I wouldn't really use this in any mech. -l2k- Quote

You shouldn't be discourging someone becase they don't have the best bricks for there prodject. I'm not a Mech fan myself, but we all have the love for the hobby... Quote

Discouraging someone and giving feedback are 2 different things. I never said it was horrible. And not everyone starts with a small collection. My brother passed his lego on to me, and I started collecting when I was 6. -l2k- Quote
Kahgarak Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 I do have a lot of Technic pieces,so making a Technic mech is not a problem for me. Quote

I don't see that as giving feedback, i see that at as discouraging. I too started like you with my colection. My brother like you handed down his lego to me. But not everyone is that fortunte. Work with what you have. It might have been a bit much of him to say it was a "great' head design, but to tell someone that there flat out not good at it isn't right. You want to give him feed back, sugjest on ways he could improve his design. Quote

Kahgarak Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 But as one's collection grows,(usually) he starts to MOC with it,and the more pieces he gets, the better he gets at MOCing because he gets more possabilities. This is what i meant. Quote
Dragon King Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I think this head is better then anything i could do with Technic Quote
