Marko Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) Last year I presented for my birthday Williams F1 Team Racer with the money of my Mother in Law. This year I created these Kingdom of Heaven knights. Creating some 5 minifigures was double the expense than getting some MISB rare set Kingdom of Heaven movie knights riding on their way to Messina Hospitaller from the Hospitaller Order Godfrey of Ibelin Godfrey is practicing with English Sergeant Bailian of Ibelin after their first joint bloodshed with his father and his team I would also thank TinyPiesRUs for the decals. lightningtiger Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 AWESOME looking minifigs 'Marko' - great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
JimBee Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Interesting work. I haven't seen that movie myself, but I like the color choices. There's one thing I'm a little confused on though- you said that these cost twice as much as a rare MISB set... how is that possible? These are all fairly common minifig parts, and I just don't see how five minifigs could be costly... especially if you already had them in hand, and didn't buy them. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Really nice Marco. These knights really have a Classic-Castle look to them. The one with the Crusader's Cross looks the best in my opinion. Quote
FinalFeature Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 ''In the end there can only be one.'' Quote Highlander. Very cool minifigures Marko. Quote

I/my son owned until now only Racers, City, Indian Jones sets. So I had to buy all the pieces from BL. As I like only NEW parts then my total bill with the brown/black horses, light gray hands/arms/legs, purple cape/torso and rest quickly came to around $100 with shipments from USA, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, UK Really nice Marco. Thanks, I tried to follow classic style by looking many of the sets images here. AND everybody thank you for the good words!!! Edited March 14, 2010 by Marko Quote

Shipping was probably more expensive than the figs, here, so maybe trying to get all of your items from a single big store would save you money. It's your money, so don't let me try to tell you how to use it, but I would hope that you wouldn't want to spend more than you need to. Quote
