hirikawa Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hello everyone! My first post come with something useful (i hope :)) But let's start from beginning. A few days ago i remembered about LEGO sets which i had in past when i was a child. Lucky my that i never sold it or give to anyone. Now i decided to clean and complete those sets. 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner - was 100% complete and in pretty good condition (didn't use it much for play). I needed to clean it a little and remove customized parts. 6274 Caribbean Clipper - was in total mess. I spend 8h in finding/cleaning/building it from beginning. Condition is fine i think. 8 parts + cannon + soldier are missing and were replaced (u can see that on photos) I bought some of those parts already on auction - i will complete this set for sure :) Anyway this long work was pretty fun, i think i found new hobby! And i also decided to took good photos of those sets, it can be used for site/reviews :) 6274 Caribbean Clipper gallery: click~! 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner gallery: click~! Big Cam Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Great pics, very clear and the sets look like they are in great condition! Quote
hirikawa Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 SES is almost perfect (a few parts may be in worser condition - parts which weren't on ship from beginning due to my customization). Caribbean Clipper is not so good, some parts changed color (sunlight + smoke). Btw. Just received yellow parts, and changed them :) Still 8 parts are missing and need to be replaced. This is hard because of high shipping costs :/ Quote

Jack Bricker Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Very nice. I have the Skull Eyes Schooner and it is up there with the Imperial Flagship in my opinion. Quote
General Armendariz Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Such lovely photos the Caribbean Clipper was always my favorite ship LEGO released, because how small but still big enough to take on much larger ships! It is my favorite ship, besides the BSB Quote
