FilmGirl27 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Ok..I love minifigs and would really love to make some of my own, but I don't have the time or commitment for it. But, the other day, I remembered this old sticker making machine (it was a Crayola one for kids), and had a weird idea- Could you put a decal in there, turn it into a sticker and use it then? Has anyone tried this before? Would it even work? Or is this just a really stupid idea? Thanks, FilmGirl27 Quote

Or is this just a really stupid idea? Was it basically a colour copier? If so, in what form would the decal need to be in and wouldn't it just be easier to use sticker paper in a printer? I mean, it sounds like an interesting idea, but we're going to need more details unless someone remember the thing precisely. Quote

It was a basically a machine where you put a small piece of ordinary paper into a slot, turned a knob, and the machine turned the paper into a sticker. But yeah, maybe sticker paper would be easier, I'm just curious. Quote

For a simple design, like numbers for a license plate it might be ok, but for a minifig not so much. I wonder what other kinds of devices exist for that purpose that might be better suited to the quality needed for the job. Hmmm. Quote
