Etzel Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Now this is a little weird, an Atlantis MOC by me? I'm certainly not a fan of the Atlantis theme and the only sets I got is the two impulse sets. But I was surprised that there was so few Atlantis MOCs here on EB so I decided to make one myself. Not a big one, but at least something Never step between a Manta-man and his fish larder. Thanks for watching! /Etzel Quote
squidman85 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Funny MOC.Need more rock and ruins i think.Lego need new color for sand between dark tan and "normal" tan,i think. Quote
Legostein Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Hello! Pretty nice littel setup. The motion of the surprised diver is fantastic. I guess he's attached by sticking the seagrass into the hole in the flipper. The ruin-like sea floor looks also very authentic. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I like it. You are correct, there is a disturbing absence of Atlantis MOCs here, and on Flickr and Brickshelf. I think that there should be many more. Then again underwater Mocs are far less common than above water Mocs, despite the mystery and adventure that can take place unda de sea. Good job, and I hope to sea more Atlantis Mocs in the future. Funny MOC.Need more rock and ruins i think.Lego need new color for sand between dark tan and "normal" tan,i think. NO! That would be disastrous! I haven't more than 6 pieces of dark tan, and couldn't have more than 30 normal tan pieces. Introducing a new one would drive me insane ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Great MOC 'Etzel' - clever way of mounting the diver in ........well deep over his head I think ! Sea floor with a handful of ruins is fine, sometimes too much can ruin the effect you are after. Excellent work 'Etzel' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
