A Heavy Fighter Design, the Mongoose

The Piranha type heavy fighter was made by special security forces working to control deep space and keep it free of pirates and raiders for merchants and honest folk looking to leave the clans "civilized influence" and head for the outer zones and hopefully, peace. It was very well received but only a few were ever made, as that was all that was truly needed out on the space lanes. this was my first ever try at making a true space worthy moc, and I did it only using parts from a ripped apart new Lego B-Wing starwars fighter, even the pilot is from that set! the only parts on here not of the B-wing is the engine, which is the wheel assembly from the Star destroyer! thanks to samuraiturtle for pointing that out to remind me to change it! hope you like it.

That's actually pretty cool looking, especially since you used a limited brick pool. The tail is a little odd, though, slightly out of line with one side studded and the other not; trying to ignore the asymmetry only makes it more noticible. I'd work with the asymmetry your pool forces on you by building random elements on the port side.

Yeah your right, it does look kind of funny, but honestly I'm thinkin of yanking apart the back and utterly rebuilding it to see how it turns out, but other then that, we'll see^^ thanks for the comment!

Hello!

I find this interesting. It features almost every characteristic of a fish. Side fins, tail and back fin. Maybe it's also good for submarine travel.

I do not remember wheels in the B-Wing. And since it is so fish like I do not think Mongoose is a good name for it maybe piranha or some other fish's name. I do like the design of your ship.

Your right, I noticed those after I submitted those pics, I should've said star wars vehicle for the back engines, as those two engines came from the star destroyer! Thanks for pointing those out and my mistake^^" Also, I think it may actually be submersible, but I haven't decided yet...and hmmm, Piranha? I rather like that....but yes, besides the wheels and the little engine lights on them everything on here is 100% B-wing!
