MOC: Bombardier Sidewalk Plow

Hi again. Taking a quick break from my fire station (Which has to be finished in a week - Yikes!), I built this small MOC, a Bombardier Sidewalk Snowplow.

I was inspired to build one after seeing it parked outside a convenience store near me. Bombardier doesn't make these anymore, but they've proven useful in Toronto's arsenal against snow.

Here's the operator loading up the salter with road salt.

To finish off, here's a night shot.

I'm working on instructions for these, but I'm not entirely happy with the way the plow came out. If you have any ideas for it, let me know!

Looks good 'ricecracker' - might I recommend this for the snowplow......

I used one for a dozer blade on my MODed digger from 7633.

It's actually quite cute, although we don't really have these in the land of Oz (but we have bigger Alpine regions than you might think) snow doesn't really fall in our cities....but if it did we would need you creation !

Good looking! Lightning Tiger's plow example is good, and my only grief with it. It has a professional tiled appearance, and the details like the lights and red and white lines are well executed. Boy, does that make me want a warm blanket

Thanks! The city actually uses orange ones, but a sub-contractor uses yellow ones .

This looks very true to the actual units!

The company I know that manufactures these little guys is known as "trackless".

I created a LDD version some time ago (you can see it on my moc pages) but yours uses more complicated techniques and definitely looks better.

This turned out really well. I like the way you've made the back: the grille tiles aligned with the rest of the body the striping, and the Technic gear. The front is nice as well. The only thing that bothers me a bit there is the overhang of the front window.
