BlueBard Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hello everybody! I've been busy making some vehicles to include in my City Display (don't forget the last updates! ), so here are the result. Hope you like it! First a little MOD of set 3177, I like how it looks more "Smart" like this: It also comes in blue! And a pic of the two. 8402 MOD. Let's be the coolest MF in town 7642's Pick up in white. These two Fiat designs are not mine. The first one is by XJ and the second one by misterzumbi Now a proper MOC of mine, a blue car. And last but not least a black/yellow version of the taxi from the upcoming set 7937 (Barcelona's taxis scheme) As you can see driver and client fit perfectly in, and there's even room for a bag! More pics can be seenhere at my Brickshelf gallery (when moderated) Thanks for watching, and comments are welcome! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Very nice 'Bluebard' ! I like the 3177 trim now using plates and the other classic town style cars - they totally suit the MOC's that you do. Interesting sports car - different way of using those slope grill pieces - nice ! The taxi - I'm not sure about using those tyres on it being 4 wide - they are fine on a pimped up sports car, but may be the wheels off your COOL white pick up truck instead ! Great work 'Bluebard' you always impress this tiger with your work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
prateek Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Nice! Overall cool cars, but I don't really understand what the MOD on the Smart car is besides the 1x2 trans red piece and the 1x2 handle piece on the back. Quote
AllanSmith Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Nice! Using black and white plates on the side to give it a diagonal look Edited February 27, 2010 by AllanSmith Quote
prateek Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Using black and white plates on the side to give it a diagonal look Oh, okay. I thought that was already there on the set. Nice change then Quote
BlueBard Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 Thanks for your comments! The taxi - I'm not sure about using those tyres on it being 4 wide - they are fine on a pimped up sports car, but may be the wheels off your COOL white pick up truck instead ! I know about the tyres, but actually I tried to follow the model from 7937 as seen in the prelim boxes. Anyway, I'm still preparing some stickers for it so it can be considerated as a prelim by now Quote
