Ravenxl7 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 (edited) Basically just some of my HP sets that I've modified, and one thing I came up with on my own. Admittedly the pictures aren't all that good, but they get across what I've done. I've always felt that the "Sirius Black's Escape" is a bit short for being a tower, so I've added to it. Not the best looking addition, but it works for me. It's also gone threw a couple of different revisions. It was first going to be completely closed and then it was going to be the part of the dungeons where Riddle blackmailed Hagrid. Now it's a part of the castle that's been mentioned in the books, but never seen in the movies (going to leave it up as a guess as to what it is for now). There is a minifigure that would go really well with the addition, though I don't have one of them, yet. The tower's addition and the fountain are, for the most part, made from parts from the "Snape's Classroom" set. Anyway, here are the pictures: This first picture is of everything together: This is the fountain I've made. A little simplistic, but 's not bad: The fountain with Harry for comparison: The tree and pumpkin from the "Draco's Encounter with Buckbeak". My plan is to add it to the new Hagrid's Hut set: With Harry for comparison: The tower from the front. I plan on adding this to the new castle set: Closer look at the front & side of the addition. A bit mismatched, but it works for me: The tower from the back: My modified version of the "Harry and the Marauder's Map" set. Regrettably gets rid of the underground tunnel, but it keeps the feature of the statue moving: Close-up of the inside of the addition: The addition with Harry for comparison (not the first time he's been to this part of the castle): Close-up of the opening desk I made using parts from the "Draco's Encounter with Buckbeak" set: Sirius in his place (one of the few things to do with this minifigure): Peeves in a part of the castle he's definitley not welcomed to: Edited February 25, 2010 by Ravenxl7 Quote
Legomaster34 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) That is a really nice MoC! I like how you added the Marauder's Map set into it! Is the room at the bottom Filch's office? If it is really nice job with the book accurate details like the chains. (They gave it away for me) Edited September 26, 2010 by Legomaster34 Quote
takuto20 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I love it all! MOCing is when I have the most fun. Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Nice work, Ravenxl. Some nice modifications. The fountain doesn't look great without any water, but the rest will make nice additions to the new sets. On 9/26/2010 at 5:47 PM, Legomaster34 said: Is the room at the bottom Filch's office?
