Way_Moby Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 One of my all-time favorite set themes was that of the Adventurers, specifically the Egyptian theme. The first set I ever got was the Scorpion Tracker, and luckily, I can say that I own several of the larger sets, including the Sphinx's Surprise and the Mummy's Tomb. I really loved the realistic nature of it, but also the inane side, such as a walking, talking mummy, etc. I really wish this theme would've continued. They could've done so much with it! Personally, I wished that they had made some sort of Egyptian Tomb (Kind of like the real Valley of the Kings), a Big pyramid, or some sort of Temple, like Abu Simbel. Those would've been awesome. What sets (in any of the themes!) do you wish that TLC had made? Quote

jerba Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 I'd like to see Johnny Thunder in East Africa with some natives (think Masai, more dark skin!) and their huts. Perhaps a safari type set with some tourist folks (perhaps a Theodore Roosevelt type hunter as either a good or bad guy) and of course these sets would provide an opportunity for some new animals! Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, antelope, wildebeast, water buffalo, elephants, giraffes, would all be welcome additions! We would of course see some bi-planes, hot air balloons, cars, trucks, boats, tents, etc. Quote
user Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 I never got a chance to get the Egypt sets so I'd have to agree with updated Egypt sets! All the minifigs could have updated printing and they could use all of the new parts we have! Not to mention a new sarcophagus mold! Quote
BobaFett2 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I love adventurers. I just buy them off Bricklink now. Hmm, new themes that would be good; Arctic-based journey A mystical native american idol hunt (they've already done south american, egyptian, and asian) Quote
