lightningtiger Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 As I'm building my country town, I thought a railway needs to pass through here - so here's the first of the MOC's to do with trains in my town. Once I have a platform made I'll post more pictures then - this station is based a little around the new station comming later in the year. Comments welcome - plus any ideas are also welcome ! lightningtiger Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Looks more like to bus stop to me... :) Well I did say two things - 1. it ia based off the new train station - it is my own take on it. - 2. I'll be doing the platform is not done yet (but maybe in the next two days). This is only for a small country town, not a city. But thank you anyway 'vgo' for your comment - it all helps ! So, I would assume there will be benches for waiting passengers. Also, that looks less like a waiting room, and more like the ticket booth to me, but that might just be my imagination. Quote

Now, yes to bench seating - a platform would not be a platform without them eh ? Next, 'Melfice' it's a.............ticket office, there is a door to the right side of the building for the station master to go in and sell tickets - I wonder if I need a fat controller ? I'm planning on using the platform design in part from 7997 - so I'll post a.s.a.p. the end result. I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote

First, the new yellow cargo train is going to become a Pacific National yellow and blue engine, but for regular human cargo I'm thinking a long the lines of something like the Overlander, maybe or older types like the Bluebird which ran to south east of South Australia. I will really have my work cut for me then with either type of train. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
