Fires-storm Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I don't really know if I'd keep the yellow and red, but other then that it looks like she'll be a beauty of a ship! you need to try and get sails on her Quote

The yellow and red @ the back .... maybe i should change that, but she is still in the Status WIP. Quote
Andre1983nl Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Suggesttions? I was thinking make the mast on the same height, in 1 line. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 (edited) If you're making a 4-masted clipper ship, I think you would get the best result by making the masts look as close as possible like this image: So masts of the same height will do, but the mast in the back should be a little bit shorter. And usually the helm is on the back part of the ship. For the rest it's looking good. Good luck with it! Edited February 25, 2010 by Admiral Croissant Quote
Fires-storm Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Looking very good so far! I like the white at the back much better then the red, the yellow blends alot better now to! nice work mate, keep at it Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 She is real nice. The sails have brought her to life. The color adjustments made a big differance as well. Quote
the_green_avenger Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) Almost done I like what your doin... but that spanker sail should be smaller, and a triangle, not a trapezoid Keep up the good work! P.S. Where's the bowsprit? P.P.S. If your using rope rigging for the rest of the ship, why not do so for the shrouds? P.P.P.S The steering wheel (I forget exactly what it's called) should be placed about 3/4ths of the way to the stern. I'm not saying the ship is bad, I'm just saying that if you want it to be accurate, there's a few things you'll need to change She is real nice. The sails have brought her to life.
