Dennis Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Hi, My name is Dennis Rogers, and live in New Zealand. I have recently got 3 Lego sets, 8295, 8265, and 8294, and the Truck Crane (8258). I Got these sets as I am also into Mindstorms NXT Robots, so thought I would get some big sets for parts. I am enjoying putting these sets togther and have allready put 8294 together, but with one small problem? either I was missing a number 9 hole beam, or I slighty assembled it wrong, so had to use one from my mindstorms. Also got as getting the power kit, but when I ordered the truck crane, this allready has the motor, etc. I guess with the XL motors I can use them both? The extra Techinc sets are a good source of parts to build robots. I am starting to build the Front loader (8265), so these sets, I think have also got me interested in good big Technic sets. With my Mindstorms NXT 2.0 I have the pieces in an Organiser, so can make NXT 1.0 and 2.0 Robots. The cranes would make a good source for robot arms, and the catapiller tracks would look good for a robot also. For the Lego sets, got this so I can store all the parts and pieces in, and the top of the toolbox has compartments for nails, screws, and small things. Ideal for storing the small lego parts. So here is a picture of my toolboxes which I will store my technic pieces. Quote
