jamie75 Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 While I would love to get my hand on one of these figs. I am not paying $600 or even $1000 for it. It is one minifig for crying out loud. Anyways, I have never tried to customize a fig before, so my questions is: Is there someone out there, more skilled then I, who could/ would make one to sell. The idea of a McQuarrie concept fig in Lego is great. I just wish they weren't so much to get one. Anyone? Jamie Quote

prateek Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 - Find a clear Classic Boba Fett decal- Do a nice paint job on the headpiece - White body, white legs, black head And presto -Omi That's pretty much it, although you'll need the new Slave I set first, to get the real Boba fig. Quote

I think he means the newest Slave I, the last set to have old Boba, but really you could use any Boba Fett helmet at all, as well as a Jango one, you could just go buy the new Magnet set, and then with a white body and a good paint job, as well as the decal mention, you have a concept Boba. The Who Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 True, true. The magnet set would just be the easiest, though, unless you already have one. ...as well as a Jango one...Now that would be just pure wrong. Quote

It would be a really bad idea to ruin a Jango helmet, considering those things go for $100 a pop. It would be in best interest to ruin and defile one from those cheap pens. Quote

I would recommend to spray the helmet with paint, not with a brush. Ask an airbrush or from a spray can, but it will depend from can to can. good luck with your project and show us the result. Quote

jamie75 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Sounds simple, but, more work then I know of. Guess I will work on one see how it turns out! Jamie Quote
