Was just looking at this again and was wondering what techniqiue you use to get the right combination of elements/colours; do you take the original file, lower the resolution in an art package (say Photoshop) to 32 x 32 then index the colour palette so it only uses the colours you define - in this case LEGO colours? I did lower the resolution to 48 x 48. However I didn't have a fancy program like Photoshop to select a colour palette, so I did it all by eyeball, which I can tell you was a long process, with a few guesstimations. I have done three mosiacs now and they look great but are a lot of work. Cheers. Quote
