Dave Shaddix Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I build this last spring, but wasn't entirely happy with it. I have recently made some needed changes after looking at it this whole time. There may be a few more tweaks on the way, but its pretty close to where I want it to be. Quote
LuxorV Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Very nice rendition, Dave Shaddix! Very accurate to the original At first I found the all-studs look of the cover a bit strange, but I think that's because I'm used to SNOTs lately. The more I look at it now, the more it seems appropiate for this model; it gives a nice aura of old style and classic builds. LuxorV Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 A great MOC of an 1960's AM radio - COOL ! But TEAC ?! Take it from a TV/Radio tech - SANYO or even SONY would have been better to call it but besides that I love it ! Great work and I'm a conformist! 'Dave Shaddix' ! Quote
lego-maniac Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 very great Moc ! At first the stud on the sides look strange but as it has been said it gives a very nice whole apparence to the transistor good job ! Quote
Harrison Bored Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Great Job Dave - the front is spot on Quote
tedbeard Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I can hear that Honolulu radio announcer now: "... a Russian spacecraft carrying a famous Hollywood movie star and an experimental robot has disappeared in the middle of the Pacific Ocean..." Quote
