cdljal Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Lego Castle has been around a long time and given us a lot of factions. My question is What factions Make up the kingdoms of your lego world? In mine I have 7 Kingdoms the first is the Origional Lion King, the factions belonging to him are the Crusaders, and Black Knights. The second Is King Leo. His factions are the kindom 1 knights and the old classics from the Knights Procession The third is the new King with his crownies and the Black Falkons the Bat Lord has the Fright Knights, Bulls, and Dragon Knights Willa the Witchs' minions are the Trolls, and Skeletons To the east I have the Shogun with the grey sameria and ninja, and the emperor with the red and black ones. Of course most of my Kindoms are divided into feifs given to the knights with some knights being vassels to others. If there is participation in this thread I will go into more detail if you want. Lordofdragonss Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 (edited) In My Lego world the themes mix, but Castle-oriented fractions are: Broken Chin Clan -Trorc- Ogres, Orc, Trolls, Dragons, Rock monsters. They still build their fortress :http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28783&hl= Crown Riders-Crownies - Including Magician (Majisto), Cawalery, Trader- They still have no castle. Crossbone- Undead army- Skeletons, Witch and mighty Necro-ine (Necro Heroine) They have a little tower for witch. Some facts: -Crown riders are very rich and greedy fraction. They don't care about others and they pillage eveything. -Trorc are peacfull, they don't need to be thefs becouse they have own Crystal mines. (That's why Crown Riders wants to destroy them) -The Leader of them is King Sir Giveh Imalot (King Giv for short) (he is the king from 2010 sets) -The warchief of Orc: Loktar -The Crossbone army is lead by Yozora- the devil daughter. Admiral Ron Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Interesting thread, but fun, so here we go... I have two major factions made up of little factions Faction 1: Royals- Consisting of the crownies and the original lion knights, as well as a wizard, some dwarves and 4 spartans Faction 2: Barbarians: Consisting of vikings, ninjas, indians, native americans, orcs, trolls, skeletons, gungans and other such folk Only the Royals have a castle. blueandwhite Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 For me my primary factions are: Black Falcons Lion Knights (original) Black Knights (dragon heraldry) Crownies All of the other factions are treated as smaller groups or individual Knights loyal to one of the larger factions. Quote
Alex the Great Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I have the Crownies as my large kingdom with some Black Falcons and Dwarves being their allies. For my bad side I have Wolfpack and the Trolls working together against them. Quote
Sir Fred Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I'm fairly boring since I have Fantasy Era sets almost exclusively, but I've got: Large factions: The Crown Alliance: Crownies, Dwarves, Sir Fred, Danju, Jayko and a lone Royal Knight (About 60 in all) The Cult of the Damned: Trolls, Orcs, undead, Vladek (About 60 in all) I also have a few smaller factions: The Imperium: Darth Vader, stormtroopers and clone troopers armed with cutlasses (About 10 in all) Bandits: Pirates, my lone ninja is their leader (About 15 in all) Red coats: Red coats (About 10 in all) When I've actually got my Lego with me not stored away (I hate how tiny dorm rooms are...) the Crown Alliance has a castle along with some smaller outposts, the Cult of the Damned has a castle as well as a ship, the Red coats have a small base, and the bandits have a ship. Sometimes these are MOCs, sometimes they're just the standard sets built by the instructions. I intend to get some Vikings as well as a bunch of the knights from the upcoming Kingdoms line. Quote
xilefsson Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 In my Kingdom, I`ve got... The Men of the King Crownies Jellybean Knights Redcoats King's secret service The Dwarfes are allied with the King. They are encountered by the Skeletons and the Trolls. The Pirates make up an own Faction, they're fighting everybody else. I don't use the older Factions i've got. Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 i have Crownies, Black Falcons, Lion Knights all autonomous and sometimes allies and sometimes enemies. Trolls/orcs and undead always antagonistic to the humans. Dwarves are off doing there own thing underground. Quote
gogobig Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 17! Enjoy :) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=gogobig Quote
bsmith13 Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Let's see... I have a few Crusaders, a few Black Falcons, some Dragon Knights and Bat Knights. I have some Lion Knights and some Wolfpack bandits. There are even some knights from Morcia, as well as Shadow Knights. I have Crown Knights, Dwarves, Trolls and Skeletons. But they are all outnumbered by Forestmen! Quote
Marko Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 I will have Kingdom of Heaven knights against yet to be defined enemy. So basically I have zero castle standard minifigures and I am ta the moment creating Kingdom of Heaven based minifigures. Quote
Oky Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 I never really thought about it until I saw this thread. I only have five small kingdoms to speak of: The Crown Kingdom, Undead army, Troll kingdom, Fright Knights, and Ninjas. The crown king rules over his 20-or-so crown knights along with the crown queen and princes. He also has a jester, a maid, and two dwarf working for him. The Evil Wizard rules over the undead alongside the Skeleton Queen and the Evil Witch. The Troll king commands a small group of 4-5 troll warriors and one big troll. The Bat Lord rules over his eight Fright Knights and a band of witches. The shogun has two black and one grey ninja, and two young samurai on his side. The Bat Lord, the witches, and the shogun are the only ones who have a castle. Quote
ziljin Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) Right now I have around 20 trolls, 20 dwarves, 20 crownies, 10 generic humans(I hope to equip them with armor once the next castle theme comes out), 10 skeleton heads on generic bodies(also want to equip with armor), 6 skeletons, and some oldies from the castle minifig pack from childhood. So that makes 2 forestmen, 1 crusiader and 2 black falcons. Missing accessories unfortunately. EDIT: Also, once Prince of Persia sets come out, I will get 1 of each for the minifigs, then multiples of the smaller sets for a army of Persians and/or Assassins. Captain Blackmoor Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 There are 6 kingdoms in my Castle Lego World. Kingdom of Leawiin. King Leo with his brave lion knights, living in the grasslands and near the rivers. The Bull Stronghold. The highwaymen Bulls, several men hiding in the great forest near the travel routes and towns. Kingdom of Keldagrim. The dwarves, high in the mountains mining for all variations of ores. Kingdom of Vládek. The Vikings who have established themselves at the Northern shores. The Haunted Caverns. Lucia's horde of skeletons and undead creatures living in the deep caverns. Grump Fortress. The Orc and Troll Tribe, living deep in the forests. Making all their castles/hiding places + surrounding landscape with real bricks is high on the wish list! Quote
DLangRI Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 So far, I have; Crown Kingdom (Fantasy) Mainly unedited as of yet fantasy sets, with a custom Prince made of soldier torso, dark blue pants, generic head with red eyebrows, reddish-brown hair, and gold epaulettes from the pirate line. Orcs (Fantasy) Ditto as above, no custom editted figures. Skeletons and Witches Fantasy Skeleton sets along with various dragons and other beasts, including the sea serpent from the Viking Ship. The witches are different castle witches, though I am looking to include some custom ones from Harry Potter sets. The Warlock from the fantasy line chills with them. Lion Kingdom (crusaders) Right now, they're camped out in the Batlord castle minus the witch's tower (which I have with the above kingdom), and a custom guarded town center made from various pieces, like the blacksmith's shop and guarded inn. I'm working on making the full collection of modular parts AND a real lion castle, unfortunately I never snagged the original big castle. This kingom I'm working on the most to expand. Black Falcons I have a mountain fortress MOC as their main base, complete with a crypt in the basement. My first castle set was the Black Falcon's fortress, and I used many of those pieces to create this MOC. Main custom Falcon minifigs. I view them as more of a hidden, assassin-esque faction. Dragon Clan A demon faction of soldiers bound to the Dragon Lord (who right now, is the evil Chess King from Knight's kingdom). The real Dragon Lord is working with the Lions to secure his throne back. I MOC'd a large black castle with dragon elements for this theme, with Stingrays Minifigs as his custom Dragon elite. Emperor of the East A few ninja themed buildings centered around the small Emperor's stronghold. I hope Lego announces more Ninja playsets so I can expand on this. Coastal Empire Mainly Imperial themes from the Pirates lines, I have them a part of the Lion Kingdom serving as the Navy. Mercenary factions Red Ninjas Led by the Ninja Princess, I'm working on a MOC castle/hideout for her and her soldiers. White Knight and his ragged band Mainly elements from the batlord set as they were ousted from their castle, along with various other knights minifigs which don't fit with any particular set. Pirates Yarrrrrrgh. Quote
Legorski Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I'm incorporating the new 'kingdoms' figures, cause I've got everything planned for them. First there are the Crownies. They own the middle kingdom, fertile plains, trees, rivers, etc., also meaning they are in between all other factions. The own castles, land, farms, towns, have a king, etc. They're just in a good/bad position. They survive, and prosper, but have to live through many battles and wars. Then I have the Barbarians. They own the Northern lands, mountains, cold plains, frozen rivers, etc., They fight mainly with the Crownies, but will be seen fighting with other factions occasionally. They have small villages, scattered over the land, little farms, no king/organizations, etc. They're just tribesmen living in a war like venue. Then The Lions. They own the east, forests, woodlands, fortresses, etc. They fight mainly with the trolls (south). They have large woodland villages, lumber-camps, rivers, and a king. Fourth, there are the Dragons. They own the west, ocean, lakes, rivers, flatlands, fishing communities. They also fight with the trolls, but have a horrid relationship with the Lions. They have fishing communities, ships, ports, fortresses, a king, etc. Finally there are the Trolls. They own the tropical south, tropical everything. They fight with anything the see, and are numerous. They have no allies only enemies. They have communities, yet unorganized ones, war leaders lead warriors to war, no other real leadership occurs. They are wild men, and have no king, only war leaders, that even fight amongst themselves. Well thats how my kingdom looks like. 8D Quote

Valin Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) Hmm..well I have one big kingdom really. I have a capital city on this big Lego Table (or was it a Train table, but if it was, it has been converted to Lego) and it spans it entirely. I have a huge Castle in the middle and little roads connecting a ton of buildings. A Senate for the Senators and Representatives to meet is next to the Castle, and there are markets, houses, docks, and cantinas. Sort of a mix of Star Wars/Knights/Vikings really. Then there are four more cities I have in the Kingdom. One closest to the capital is a city on a 'plateau' and has a big place for grazing horses, dinosaurs, etc. Second city which I pretend to be in a cave (it's under a table) is this big city with lots of gems and it is ruled by the dwarves from the Castle set. Also converted Hagrid's beard from Hagrid himself and made a cool new dwarf. (I'll definitely give pictures which I get my camera working.) The third city I have is just this place for good ole pirates to hang around, and it's a big trading center. The docks are crowded with supplies and people are everywhere. The ruler is actually Count Dooku..hehe. But the city is surrounded by a magnificent wall with lots of Knights and a grand entrance. Last city is the farthest away from the capital and it's mainly a small city with a spaceport thing and a huge Library. Not many people guarding it really. So I have in my little Senate (I like politics for some reason) two people representing each city, and one Chancellor and five governor's. Yeah, it's a weird kingdom. The Chancellor is sort of the ruler, but the Governor rules the city. My other kingdoms are pretty random. I have a wandering skeleton army, a pirate base in the corner, and just random settlements throughout the room. Also, I have this area in the room where there are a few dragons and swamps. People get eaten Edited March 13, 2010 by Valin Quote
Jebediahs Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Very interesting ideas, guys! My realm is fairly young. The Crown presence is rather weak and scarce in my lands resulting in the orcs fighting amongst themselves. Recently a powerful orc, united the majority of the warring orc clans under one banner(unnamed as of yet). LordofDragonss sometimes stops by to help build this new orc nation. A few heroes have emerged: Treb'Or - Responsible for uniting the orcish clans. Advisor - One of only two orcs Treb'Or respects and defers to. Runs day-to-day activities. Shamaness - Treb'Or's older sister and trusted second-in-command. She lives only to empower her younger brother. The Maa'ri - Treb'Or's lieutenants. Kailee - Half-elven Emerald Knight who has single-handedly destroyed many orc settlements whilst flying upon her dragon. Gnut - An orcish goof whose path often crosses with that of the Maa'ri's even though they've never met. O-R-R-R-C-C! Quote
Golbolco Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 All of them except ninja, and i have the vikings, and any kingdom with the same symbol is joined together. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 my factions consist of the Crownies, The Vikings, Falcon Knights(blue KK2), Bear Knights(red KK2), Monkey knights(KK2), Wolf Knights(KK2), a dark faction consisting of Vladek's forces centered around his fortress, Orcs, Skeletons, Dwarves, Blood Elves, the Undead, and a few time lost individuals(pirate and imperial). The Crownies(with a triumvirate of kings) have a loose alliance with the knights from KK2, who themselves form a loose confederation under the leadership of King Mathias and his advisors, also allied with the Vikings and Dwarves and Blood Elves. Vladek's forces are allied with the Trolls and Undead. When I obtain the Kingdoms sets, the Lion Knights will form a faction that is a dysfunctional version of the Crownies, who they are a rival faction to. The Dragon Knights will be neutral. Of course all of this is only true in the case of my household. Quote
Calanon Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Kingdom of Keldagrim. The dwarves, high in the mountains mining for all variations of ores. Do you happen to play Runescape by any chance? For me, I have thought many times about a map of all the factions, and ehre is what I have so far: The Crown Kingdom: A large, wealthy kingdom that has no intention of taking much more land. The Black Falcons: Allies to the Crown Kingdom, with a mountain range on the west border of the kingdom. Dragons: Enemies to the Crown Kingdom, created from the greed of the the King's brother. Lions: Do-gooders who may have evil intentions. Strong believers in order and knowledge. Bulls: A small kingdom who appear chaotic and evil yet may be be better in their intentions than the Lions. Their kingdoms border and much fighting often happens. Forestmen: Neutral people who live in villages towns and the woods they call their homes and help whoever they think is right. Sort of an ally with the Crown Kingdom. Wolfpack: Ruthless mercenaries, sworn enemies of the Forestmen an the Crown Kingdom. Dwarves: Mountain-dwellers who craft many fine things. Strong allies with the Crown Kingdom. Vikings: Men who dwell in the north of the world, beset by evil. Allies to the Dwarves and the Crown Kingdom. Skeletons: Raised from the dead in the east, these mindless robots are the works of the living. Orcs & trolls: From the far north, mercenaries but enemies to all. Hate the Vikings and dwarves. Elves: Live in the far west of the world, with sea and mountains surrounding them, no-one has seen an elf for centuries. Quote
Bram Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Elves: Live in the far west of the world, with sea and mountains surrounding them, no-one has seen an elf for centuries. And by the looks of it, they won't be seen any time soon Quote
