The picture above is unofficially the 742nd X-wing I have built and the second one I have posted online. It was made about two years ago. As you can see, I used ideas from errbt, dateman, Niko, Lowlead, the official Lego X-wing, and many others. (However, the laser cannons are original.) I am currently working on another version which uses click hinges to achieve a more correct angle for the rear fuselage. This is my (more correctly scaled) Eta-2 Actis Interceptor. In the opening scene of Episode III (as well as several episodes of the 2003 Clone Wars series) it can be seen that the bulb cockpit of the Eta-2 is not much bigger than Anakin's body. It can be reasoned, then, that the official LEGO Eta-2 is far too large and I don't understand why people keep making it bigger, unless they are trying to scale it to the new R2-D2 dome. The Eta 2 is really nice, as prateek said, you have downsized it but still managed to keep the detailes. Well done on these MOCs!
