Daniel Williams Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Radio announcer: Flash, yesterday 6 of June 1944, the largest Allied Invasion took in Europe. This invasion marks the turning point of the war... At the time most didn't know that their sons, lovers, fathers, brothers and husbands weren't coming back. Thousands of men died, due to bombs missing their targets and the fact that none of the DD tanks made it to Omaha to support the troops there. This is part of my D-Day project, any comments, questions or suggestions welcomed.
