prateek Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Nice! The colour makes it look really good Quote
Dutch Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 With a little sanding it would be perfect. Quote
Hound Knight Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Great work! What'd you make it out of? Quote
Darth Hawken Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 (edited) Fantastic work on the wig. It would look even better if it had a braid in the back or something of the sort. Nice color choice as well Edited February 4, 2010 by Darth Hawken Quote
Big Cam Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 That looks really good. If it was a bit smoother and glossy, it'd look like a regualt LEGO toupe. Quote
kill will Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 That's a really nice hairpiece! It looks exactly like it should, the curls on the side are my favorite part. Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 It is that green putty from the Table top warfare store. It does not have to be baked, it dries in 24 hours. It certainly could use a sanding. Quote
the_green_avenger Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 It is that green putty from the Table top warfare store. not sure what store your talking about. Anyway, looks awesome Lets see if I might be able to make some for my extremely large redcoat battalion. Wonder if I could get a tricorne to fit over it Is it very hard to make these? Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 100th post. It was actually very simple. Take the old male hair piece, roll up some putty like a snake and wrap it around the sides to make the curels(my brain will not spell it right now). Add some more in the back, someone mentioned braided, so pony tail or braids. Let it dry and paint it. I could have sanded mine a little more but the pictures end up so much larger than the real thing the scratches are hard to see on actual piece. Vualla. Quote
