lightningtiger Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 As I said I was designing an ANZ bank branch for my little town thats under construction. What do you all think of this one, comments are very welcome. Quote
BlueBard Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Great! Small but charming and perfect for a little Lego town Quote
Big Cam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Love the photocopier LOL, I'm pretty sure that's a safe. I love it, small enough to fit on a LEGO roadisde but it has what a bank needs, a teller a computer and money in the safe. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 A big thank you to everyone who has commented on this little MOC bank of mine. The news is more is comming and I'm starting on the street scape right now (working it out that is) ! Again thank you and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 Great bank.Needs an ATM though. Thanks for your comments 'Jonwil'. I'm currently in LDD as I write, designing an ATM to go along side the bank building. Quote
d00dz Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Thanks for your comments 'Jonwil'.I'm currently in LDD as I write, designing an ATM to go along side the bank building. I thought they abolished ATMs? Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 'Jonwil' you ask....you receive (sometimes) ! Yep, it's an ATM ! A close up view of this ATM. What do you all think, comments very, very welcome ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
jonwil Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Nice ATM although I personally think it would look better if the cheese slope and mailbox were blue :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Nice ATM although I personally think it would look better if the cheese slope and mailbox were blue :) I would agree with you, for that a do have blue cheese slopes, but I don't think their has ever been a blue mail box ! In any case, I guess this is what I was trying to aim at........ I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Zorbas Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Very nice work lightningtiger! The colours you've used look great and the printing job is excellent. The safe looks very nice and pretty realistic. The ATM is very well designed in my opinion. At last, the traveller's set screen was useful! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 I must tell a home truth, the safe is actually out of an Agents set from last year (and the only reason why I brought it too). Thank you 'Zorbas' for your kind comments and I'm a conformist! ! P.S. Shortly I'll be posting a street scape, plus today I'll be working on two Australian work vehicles (gee, I'll be busy today) - posting if I have the time today - later on that is ! Quote
lincolnwho Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I would agree with you, for that a do have blue cheese slopes, but I don't think their has ever been a blue mail box !In any case, I guess this is what I was trying to aim at........ Ahhhh the days ...sorry gone agin cool bank though real good details I'm a conformist! Quote
sens1992 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Great little bank! Simple but a classic LEGO town feeling! Combined with your post office and telephone, you will have great elements for a Main Street. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 Thank you 'Sens1992' for those kind comments. I have just posted a street scape with the bank, post office and phone box plus hardware store, oh yeah the ATM too ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 Yes, another revisit - but also a redesign too I have put the ATM in the bank itself now ! Note the tiled floor and safe-come-ATM.......Comments welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Danpb Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I was going to suggest adding an ATM - well done! I like how small it is - brings me back to Legoland-style sets :) Great job! Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 (edited) Great looking bank! I do like the ATM, I think it looks very nice, but for the rest of the building also I think you've done a good job. Keep up the Aussie MOCs mate, I can't wait to see the full town. Any chance of you bringing it to a future Brick Expo? Edited May 6, 2010 by Captain Zuloo Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 Thanks 'Danpb' and 'Captain Zuloo' for your very kind comments - yeah, I like it now with the ATM in the wall, before it had an add-on wall to the entrance side of the bank. Posting on my police station tiled too shortly. I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
Lord Arjay Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Oooh lovely bank lightningtiger . It looks great with the tiled floor and the ATM is very nice. Well Done! Quote
escortmad79 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Looooooads of blue mail boxes on Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp?it...mp;catString=10 Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 Thanks 'Lord Arjay' and 'escortmad79' for your comments. Blue isn't a colour that Aussie Post use for their mail boxes - I think that's US Mail's colour boxes. Currently working on one 32x32 road plate, tiling and trimming that, posting a.s.a.p. ! I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Refresh, reloaded with a new babe....er I mean teller. Here she is.... But her hair is a little of a problem.... Comments welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
