Greetings!

I just completed the first episode of my new brick film series City KREW. Since this is my first film, I would love to get constructive feedback on how it looks, especially since I've got a bunch more episodes planned out.

The version on YouTube also has an HD option for better quality.

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy it.

That was pretty good, I can't wait for the next episodes. What program did you use to put in the background? I'm trying to start a brickfilm but I kind of want to have some scenes in a forest like you did.

Awesome! I've never seen the incorporation of backgrounds like that before! It's not the most action-packed movie ever, but it has a decent plot and the animating is superb.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next episodes. Great work!

Thanks, sok117. I used After Effects for the backgrounds. Shooting the animations against a green screen made it pretty easy since there's a feature called Keylight that removes the screens so you can plug any background behind it. I just had to try and match the angle and scal of the animations to the backgrounds, which was quite tricky for some shots.

Here's a more detailed description of the process I used:

Thanks Inconspicuous. I'd originally planned it as a young kids series, since I have a 4 year old so wasn't sure how much action I was going to get in there. I'm planning a bit more for future episodes.
