NewRight Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Name stolen from Harry Potter. Inspired by the JRC contest, although I won't be entering. ^Photo is link to Flickr^ Built mostly just to showcase the waistcoat. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Looks good but it's too bad that they can't be side by side. Quote
NewRight Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 People on Flickr also commented about that. It is unfortunate as it makes the front of the figure look ultimately bad, but I do like how the shot turned out at least. Quote
Big Cam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Very nice shot, too bad it's not a playable fature or a 360 viewable fig. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I would say almost exactly the same thing as Big Cam. The decal certainly looks excellent, and this angle/shot is pretty good, but it is a shame that it's not a technique you'd like to look at from any other angles. If you perhaps modified the cape pieces themselves then they'd fit together, but I don't know if cutting up LEGO pieces is your thing (it certainly isn't mine). Still, it's a nice shot. Quote
the_green_avenger Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 An interesting use of the piece. Though everyone else is right, it might look a little funny from the front. Making something out of fabric to fit the spot might make the front look better. Quote
