Hello everybody!

In my mission to keep up the great versatility in this forum, I am glad to present you two models from the movie "The Terminator" from 1984 to you. They belong to the category of the Non-Humanoid Hunter Killers. They are also roughly to scale with each other. The imitated movie poster shows what you'll see in this topic. :classic:

Let's start with the Aerial Hunter Killer. It features the bent shape like the originial. You can adjust the fins, cannon and headlights to your purposes. The engines also rotate to give it its superior maneuverability. :classic:

Tracked to the ground is the Hunter Killer Tank. It has the face-like head with its many lights you can also see in the movie. Body and head can rotate so that you can turn it in every desired direction. :classic:

With that I am done here. Thank you for your time and interest. :classic:

Enjoy your sunday!

WOW, these bring me back about 10 years. I swear, will you ever run out of things to build? Everytime, I can't get over how accurate these are. I really want to go home and watch T1 and T2.

T3 is ok, but a bit overated.

Hello!

Thank you for your comments! :classic:

Regarding the movies, I also like parts one and two best. Part three was okay. And about part four I don't want to talk about.

Cheers,

Wow, those are great!

The proportions of the HK-Tank seem a little off to me, it looks somewhat too narrow. However, given the limitations of the Lego track links, it does look good, and you've captured all the distinctive details of the machine, so it's easily recognizable.

The HK-Aerial is pure ABS awesome. Those droid cylinders look like they were made especially to be HK engines. Very well done indeed. :classic:

Hello,

and thank you Jay. :classic:

Maybe you're right about the tank. :classic: I was happy, however, that it worked out with the treads at all. The proportions are the closest match I could get. Sometimes these are a little off due to parts restrictions. :classic:

Who doesn´t love the first Terminator movie?

I am not so fond of the tank, even if you did capture it very good. Not your fault that the "designers" made a poor job when doing the film

But the Aerial Hunter Killer was a very cool ship in the movie, and your caption is dead on gorgeous.

Also that you got so many good features is just super!

Haven't seen the movies, but they look pretty good.

I like how you made them detailed (like the arched look on the Aerial Hunter Killer) while still keeping them in small scale.

Hello,

and thank you for the nice comments once again! :classic:

I am not so fond of the tank...

Neither am I  but I felt that the Aerial Hunter Killer, which I built first, needed some company. So he got the tank for ground cover. :classic:

Cheers,

I liked the Aerial HK more than the HK tank, because I've only seen The Terminator and Terminator Salvation, and the parts with the Aerial HK were pretty cool (like when it crashed in Salvation  )
