Killerrabbit Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I never follow Robinson myself, but I found this pretty cool: Question to winner: "What are you going to do with your 500,000 SEK win? - First I'll be traveling with my family, then I'll invest more money in my Lego hobby, says Hasse with a broad smile" Full article here, in Swedish though: http://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/tv/d...ticle6521192.ab Quote
CopMike Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Hans won the Swedish survivor game a.k.a Robinsson well deserved. I watched all the episodes because I really like the show. Here´s a pic of Hans with his First Lego League from 2008: Hans is up to the left. On a side note I did my military training with Hans in the Swedish Army's Parachute Ranger School . On another side note the first swedish Robinsson winner, Martin Melin, was a buddy of mine from work. Quote

Lesson of this story is that if you wanna be famous and rich, you need to get to be a friend of Copmike first. Edited January 31, 2010 by Front Quote
Mirandir Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Since he has an almost complete LEGO Star Wars collection on display in his shop, which makes it very popular with both kids and adults, I guess it could be called a buisness investment. ;) Quote
Big Cam Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I would have done the same thing. He's a true AFOL! Quote
Holodoc Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Lesson of this story is that if you wanna be famous and rich, you need to get to be a friend of Copmike first. Okay, I managed the Mike-thing - where's my money? And fame of course? Quote
Ras 74 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I have not followed Robinson this year (or in many years). But when CM told me about Hans (I did knew about this guys LEGO collection before) and that he was going to be in this years Robinson, I started to watch it. I watched the first two episodes and then forgot about it. But on the Saturday I heard that the finals was, so I watched that (don´t watch TV much otherwise). Hans was out of the game, and had a last challange to fight his way back, and did. He was really an underdog. When he took one place of the four to then make it to the finals (two posisions) it really started to be exited. I called and texted CM several times during the show. There was two more competitions to take one of the finalist places. He missed the first chance, but grabbed the last one. Then he one in the finals as well that is obvious now He was a really worthy winner of this years Robinson for sure, and beeing a AFOL, who else could you hoped for to win. Okay, I managed the Mike-thing - where's my money? And fame of course? First of you have to participate in the Swedish version of Robinson as well. A mayor important side thing to just know CM. So just stand in line Doctor Quote

k_peek_2000 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Jeeze if I wons (american survivor, if its still on the air) I would totally go on a Lego crazy spending spree. Haven't gotten a set since last summer! Boy I need a job. Quote

Wow, Sweden seems to be a scarcely populated country Either that, or in Sweden the six degrees of separation theory is centered around Lego Seriously, with almost 50.000 Euro () to spent, I would go bananas on S@H! *sigh* one must keep on dreaming...
