brickme Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Yes it's true. Our dear lego company makes mistakes however I have never seen this particular mistake. Does anybody know which set this is from. Also if there is already a topic on this a mod can lock it. Quote
Big Cam Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 hahaha, simple mistake, I think that would be an easy mistake to make designing the instructions. Quote
richb Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) Does anybody know which set this is from. It's from the new MC Escher Architecture set. It's 8038, The Battle of Endor. Book 2, Page 41. http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4561749.pdf Edited January 28, 2010 by richb Quote
PerryDaPirate Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Wait, I don't exactly get it. How is it fail? Quote
Commander Flash Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Three by one shown to cover a four by one space. Quote
Tereglith Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Don't worry, LEGO has also recently been featured on epicwinFTW.com! You'll notice that I cleared up a little dispute about the propriety of saying "Legos" in the comments. Quote
richb Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Wait, I don't exactly get it. How is it fail? 3 != 4 Quote
-The Hyphen- Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I saw these on There, I Fixed It (epic kludges and jury rigs) a long time ago, but didn't want to create an all-new topic to post them. But now, the floodgates are open, so enjoy. (Link to original page) (Another one.) (And, my favorite...) Quote
user Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 (edited) Huh those are really funny! Btw did any of you know that I was front paged on failblog once? Edited January 29, 2010 by computerbug Quote
sok117 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I think everyone is entitled to make some mistakes. Quote
RileyC Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Its just a mistake and if you looked through a lot of instructions you would find at least a mistake in every 4 or 5 one. Quote
Corvus Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 That's great. I'm sure I've seen that mistake, though... Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Heh, that is funny. To the mildly confused: Fail does mean mistake, on the interwebz anyway. Like stepping on a paving stone which pushes down and squirts you with old rain water is a "Floor Fail" (It was so funny when my friend did that). Or when you post a sentence with bad spelling and poor grammer it is "Sentence Fail". My friend is a reader of I Fixed It, no wonder he has been bugging me to make him a Lego Guitar. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 That made me laugh, Hyphen's pics too, very funny. I saw something funny here at EB as well, don't know exactly where it was. A Soldiers Arsenal set, with a teared name sticker so there was an Soldiers big behind for sale. Quote
Xenophilius Studz Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Ha. That's a good one! Now don't let it happen again, LEGO! A Soldiers Arsenal set, with a teared name sticker so there was an Soldiers big behind for sale. default_laugh2.gif Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) HA! oh, wow that is a fail! Just like TLC still uses the prelim pic of the Galactic Enforcer in the back of the Space Police instructions! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited January 30, 2010 by dannylonglegs Quote
prateek Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Huh those are really funny! Btw did any of you know that I was front paged on failblog once? *snip* Now that's funny. Quote
