Tom Bricks Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I was messing around with some pieces the other day and this is pretty much what came of it. I started with the front and built off of that, and this was also a way to use the tire well pieces because I don't use them in the rest of my city's cars. Comments and criticism welcome with more on Flickr Quote
prateek Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 That is one basic MOC, but I do like it. I like the raised chassis, and IMO it isn't really a hatchback, but more of a small SUV Quote

WhiteFang Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I really like this car very much, and I will love to build something like this, similar to yours. Such vehicles simply reminded me of Classic Town, and it will be very nice to have them roam around your tabletop streets. By the way, do check out Classic-Town.net, first thing on 28th Jan morning for an exclusive coverage! Do add your MOC, inside our Classic-Town.net Flickr group. Quote

Well yeah, but in reality it's still six wide because of the mudguards Nice simple vehicle though, regardless whether it's seen as an X3 or a Mazda 3 :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Not bad at all, I would call it a small wagon than a hatchback. Must come from the same factory as the sports car. Good work 'Tom Bricks' .....I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Rick Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Nice little vehicle. However, it indeed looks more like a small SUV. For it to be realistic in that case it would need to be wider however. For it to be realistic as a small town car, it would need to be fitted with smaller, more narrow wheels, and preferably different wheel arches. Anyway, it's Lego, so anything goes and it fits in really nicely with today's City theme. Quote

Big Cam Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Love it!!! A great spin on the original, LEGO should listen to all the AFOL's and make a combo pack with like 5 versions fo their new car. Quote
CommanderFox Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 A very simple MOC, but looks lovely! I like the little mirrors, nicely done. The shape looks very nice! Then I'd call this MOC something like a Subaru Forester/Outback/Legacy Touring Yes, I agree with that. Great job with this MOC Tom Bricks CommanderFox Quote
