MdrnMrvls Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 This factory worker comes armed with a parts trolley and hammer, ready to assemble whatever comes down the conveyor belt. A quick little build, these (there's going to be three) are for a factory style Cafe Corner compatible building that's about 50% done at the moment. Hope you enjoy! Thank you, I am right now working out what pieces and how many I need on paper and will make my adjustments to my hardware store as I'm doing my roof. Plus make a couple of merchandisers for the servo, etc,. Quote
Ricecracker Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 These look great, Chris! I can't wait to see the building itself. Quote

samurai-turtle Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 It look like some one got mad in the last picture. Quote
BlueBard Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Great little "set"! The idea for the trolleys is really clever, and even if it's small visually impressive. Looking forward for the rest of the models and of course for the factory Quote

I can't wait to see the factory I'm glad you like it, Prateek. It look like some one got mad in the last picture. Indeed, they did! Great little "set"! The idea for the trolleys is really clever, and even if it's small visually impressive. Looking forward for the rest of the models and of course for the factory Thanks, BlueBard! I'm happy that you like it, I'm working on a delivery truck to go along with it now too. It looks as if there will be some space issues. Quote
Big Cam Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Ahhh, looks to me that you've worked in a factory before. Great job, I llove how your pictures are so simple, just the guy and his tools, it really makes it pleasing to look at. Quote
Davey Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Great little 'impulse set' there! So, the parts trolleys are carrying hands, huh? What would this factory be assembling? Cyborg Minifigs to conquer the world? Seriously though, the design of the trolleys is very innovative and the final scene where the gal has pushed the trolley over on the unsuspecting gent gave me a chuckle. I'd love to see people start 'captioning' that one. -Davey Quote
Dr. Steve Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Great Carts! The use of the hands is a little disturbing on some level...LOL But they seem to work well Quote
Rick Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Very simple, yet very effective technique on the trolleys (soon to be featured on Classic-Town.net ) Quote
MdrnMrvls Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) Very simple, yet very effective technique on the trolleys (soon to be featured on Classic-Town.net ) Hey, thanks Rick! Love the blog, so it's greatly appreciated. Great Carts! The use of the hands is a little disturbing on some level...LOL But they seem to work well Thank you! The hands were the smallest pieces that would fit in there and make it look like there was multiple of something. A 1x1 plate piece would have looked tacky. The sneak attack on the coworker was a spur of the moment thing. I'm glad I did it though. I still have a little laugh when I look at it too. Ahhh, looks to me that you've worked in a factory before.Great job, I llove how your pictures are so simple, just the guy and his tools, it really makes it pleasing to look at. Haha, no not me. I remember watching this Ferrari show on TV with those assembly lines and their workers picking parts out and what not. It kind of got imprinted into my mind I guess. Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment. I'm glad my photos are nice to look at. Edited January 27, 2010 by MdrnMrvls Quote
