Legoist Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Thinking about it, if someone just wants the pigs it will be much cheaper to get 3-5 impulse sets. I am curious to see for how much they will sell the pigs on BrickLink and eBay. My guess is that the first batch will be sold for more than 5e each pig to buyers who will not realize that later you can get it for 3e from the impulse set... Quote
Rick Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Not mine, but I spotted this folder on Brickshelf, and it includes detailed pigs of the pics, eeehm, pics of the pigs Quote

Zorbas Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) Great, those pics look like they belong to a proper review... I bet we can expect to see something up here soon. It's a WIP in the RA. I'm still working on it since Saturday. Bad weather, bad lighting... I hope I'll finish it in time and post it. EDIT: The set is great IMO! The pigs.... Edited January 25, 2010 by Zorbas Quote

phoinix Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 and what is that grey thing in the front supposed to be? Quote
Swash Buckler Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 and what is that grey thing in the front supposed to be? it is weight of sort- there is those things in tractor's- it is because it will balance the tractor when it pulls something very heavy.... and it is very accurate to the real tractors- it's great... NewRight Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Thanks for that review although boy that set seems a little pricey for me. Quote

Zorbas Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 But those pics are already really nice. I suspect the RA wants better? The teachers haven't yet commented since it's still a WIP but joining the RA definitely makes you to want to raise the quality level when it comes to reviews and photos and that's the great thing about RA. You learn how to be good and after some time you learn from your mistakes because you can recognise them. Believe me, teachers' advices and suggestions are always accurate and right in the spot. Klaus-Dieter Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Thank you very much for this great review, Brick Town Talk! I voted for Outstanding Cons: -already common torso for the farmer -gates of the enclosure do not close completely Pros: -great new female Farmer torso -lovely pigs -awesome designed and detailed tractor All in all this is imo an outstanding Farm set which combines animals with vehicles and even a bit location.
