Torax Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) Hello and help. I have stumbled over some second hand LEGO very locally and I want to know if it's at a good price. Is AUD $20 (about 18 USD I think) a good price for a second hand 5510 Off-Road 4 x 4? It really looks like a great set with 285 pieces. Also, what do you think about a 7312 T-3 Trike for AUD $10 Crap, it looks like I've posted this topic twice. Sorry about that, could anyone please delete the older one? Hewman Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 If you like the T-3 trike, I'd say $10 is a fair (not great) price if it's in very good condition, although they'd be lucky to sell it for that on ebay, and selling to you would be much less hassle for them. Looking at the 5510 on bricklink again I'd say it's a fair price, but nothing to get overly excited about. It all depends on if these are sets you really want.
voltio Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I'd definitely buy the 5510 if it was in good shape and complete w/stickers and instructions. Model Team sets like that one are quite attractive, given their near-classic status and interesting parts. I'm especially partial to the windscreen, wheels, and steering components of 5510, which you could easily use in any vehicle MOC. However, I'd steer clear of the Life on Mars set unless you really love that theme. Mediocre set at a mediocre price.
Torax Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 Thanks everyone, I bought the sets yesterday. The MT set was missing a few pieces, but nothing a little scavenge of the parts bin couldn't help. ;) The Trike had one broken piece, otherwise complete. Both came with box and instructions! Box for a MT set! Pretty good in my opinion. This may be closed now? Thanks everyone, /Torax
