commdr_neyo Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Looks great TB It looks almost exactly like the scene in the movie! Quote
Future74 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Great scene! Here's the comparison deeplinked, so everyone can instantly enjoy it: Keep up the good work! Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 'What is that ...thing ?' asks the imp. officer AWESOME yet simple - great MOC from a New Hope on board the original Death Star. I'm a conformist! 'Thunder-blade' ! Quote
Big Cam Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Spot on, I've been so busy with other activities lately i forgot how much i love SW stuff. That's for putting a smile on my face. Quote
RileyC Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Wow, great work it looks like the real scene. Are those custom handcuffs you are using in the vig or just painted lego ones? Quote
Thunder-blade Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 Wow, great work it looks like the real scene. Are those custom handcuffs you are using in the vig or just painted lego ones? They are Batman handcuffs. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! Quote
Legostein Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Hello (again)! That's a fantastic vignette. Again you show a scene captured excellently with nice building techniques. MAy favourite detail is the rounded elevator door. Using curved bricks was the perfect choice for that. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Edlund Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Good moc. It looks really alike the original. Quote
Eskallon Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very nice Vig Thrunder-Blade. It looks very similar to the shot from the movie and it is good you included a comparison picture for us to look at. The one thing I might suggest is changing the 1 X 1 round studs on the camra from grey to black but overall Quote
Big Cam Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Not that it needs it but if you were to redo it, some red on the outside of the control panel would be cool, but with the small size it's be hard. Quote
The Nightwing Reborn Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Pretty nice, I could instantly recall the whole scene. I'd only suggest to find some more printed slopes for the control panels. Great work Quote
prateek Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Looks good! I like the blue ligh box hanging from the ceiling Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Looks good! I like the blue ligh box hanging from the ceiling Really? I always though those were cameras. They look like cameras the way Lego made them in the Death Star. I'll have to go search that. Very nice comparison, by the way! I love the Death Star I have, but this is very, very accurate compared! Legoroni Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very nice. If only we had Woody's legs in brown. Is that a decal on luke(or Han's) leg? Or do you have a steady hand? Quote

Delta 38 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Interesting. This would be good if it was released as a small set. Quote
