cheesey skrall Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) My first MOC on Eurobricks. I might post more, I might not. This MOC took around 2 days to build and I have modified it around 12 times until i was happy with it. Stand 2 Aim and fire! Thornax cannon Bonus size comparison see the rest of the images on my flickr account ! My flickr Edited January 13, 2010 by cheesey skrall Quote
Natman8000 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 That is way cool. I like the use of that mask as stomach armor. Overall great moc, skrall looks better with yellow. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 This is an OK MOC, but I think there are places it could definitely use improvement. First, definitely lengthen the torso. With such long legs and such wide shoulders, it definitely needs a longer torso. Of course, one could also argue that the shoulders are what should be abandoned in favor of more typical proportions, since the way they are now hardly any of the shoulder armor is protecting them. Second, the sleekness of the torso and leg armor simply doesn't work with the chunky, rocky parts used elsewhere. Finally, while I think the leg armor is clever, the legs and arms in general look flimsy compared to the bulkiness of the rest of the build. It makes the overall physique look unnatural, kind of like giving a barrel-chested dude with six-pack abs a pair of bony arms and the legs of a runner. It just doesn't work. This is a nice concept, but I see lots of room for improvement. But as you said, this is already the product of many design stages. A few more shouldn't hurt. Quote
prateek Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 This is great! I love how it's so big, like a real body guard. The coulours go well, and I like how you made the limbs Quote

Also I wanted it to be differend, Otherwise it would just be stronius with yellow hands and legs! Edited January 14, 2010 by cheesey skrall Quote
Front Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) The modified club is nice. I've already myself given up on the idea of using this club other than as standard, but I see you managed fine with the gap. I don't like the yellow thighs though, because the balls at both end have no function. But overall, nice Edited January 15, 2010 by Front Quote
