strange pieces

I recently got a random lot from Ebay. There are quite a few weird pieces. Can someone tell me where are they from, and what are they good for?

I know what the tube is. But i got 50 of them. Any suggestions on how to use all 50 of them? Thanks.

The white/red one is part of an eyeball from a squid in Aquaraiders. The second to left is part of a spiral staircase.

EDIT: ah, Ricecracker got it before me. The rubber band holders I've never used, but I have seen some rather strange, yet interesting MOCs made from them.

I've found that brown tubes are quite useful for making palm trees. Perhaps you can do an oil-spilled beach with those black ones? I don't know...
