Peppermint_M Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I was Googling Lego new when I found an article here . About a new Lego community Cl!ck. But I don't know how to embed video... Quote
Svelte Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Flash-based social networking LEGO site with twitter - just what the world needed Quote
David Thomsen Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I didn't stay there long before I gave up. I didn't understand the point of it. And yet, someone went to a lot of effort to create it. Did I miss something? Quote

Commodore Hornbricker Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I don't get it and that guys mustache was crazy. Quote
David Thomsen Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 You mean flash, twitter or LEGO click?:/ Well... Flash is a useful tool that is often used to make websites unnecessarily big and ungainly, Twitter is a useful tool that is primarily used to broadcast information about the toy that came with your breakfast cereal... But I mean Lego Click. Possibly it is in its Beta stage, I don't know. Quote
Big Cam Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I think I'll spoend my online LEGO time here, Click doesn't seem to function really at all, at least for me, it seems useless. Quote
Ras 74 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Was that video really the best they could come up with? It felt like someone used drugs to make that up I have not put some time to check the rest out, but will do so in a close future. Quote
RileyC Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 The website sure looks nice but I dont see why it was needed really... Quote
MetroiD Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Whenever I navigate to a website which doesn't show up at all (due to my NoScript blocking Flash content), I start having second thoughts about whether I should stay there. Flash is all fine and dandy, but websites that are entirely based on it have one thing in common: I tend to keep away from them. Especially if their loading process takes half a century to complete... Can't help but wonder precisely who this is aimed at though. Doesn't look very childish and that tweethash has left me totally confused. Tweet about what makes me click... riiiiight. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 13, 2010 Author Posted January 13, 2010 I just linked it for the funny and creative video.. Well, maybe it would be better if it was an app for a smart phone? Quote
Davey Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Cute site and an interesting concept. I like the idea of highlighting the use of LEGO in problem solving and it seems to align with the goals LEGO Serious Play. I would say that the new LEGO Cl!ck program is aimed more at adults and businesses than kids and teens. Don't get me wrong, it still has applicability to the problem solving that kids and teens encounter on a daily basis, but I see the push as more directed to adults. The idea here is that you use LEGO to solve a problem in your life and when you solve it...it just cl!icks. I think it's a cute idea and a great way to spotlight how LEGO is not just a toy. It fills so many other roles in peoples lives and is a life-long companion. I say well done! -Dave Quote
Darth Legolas Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I'm talking about this. When I go on the "posts" option, it gives me current internet events from random websites. So what does this website do? What is it all about? It makes next to no sense to me. Not to mention, my security system tells me this site is iffy, but it is run by Lego. Thanks! Quote
Mission Commander Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I have honestly no idea. didn't CopMike say something about this earlier? Quote
prateek Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 It's a cool site with nice graphics and such. I don't understand the problem solving aspect, but it's a nice blog Quote
