Steel Dragon Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I recently bought the stellar Drawbridge Defense, though for a bit more than the MSRP, and have just started cannibalizing parts from it for MOCs. I noticed that the two pearl-gold pennants included in the set looked odd. Upon further inspection, I found that they were waving the wrong way! My question is, has anyone else noticed a difference in the pennants in recent sets? And does this seem intentional? I think Lego may be phasing to a new style. Quote
CMP Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Right. Mine have been like that too. I like it, personally. Quote
JimBee Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 There was a discussion about this a while back (can't find it...). I think that the reason is still unknown why some of the flags have "inverted" bends compared to the others, but most people speculated that it was an error in the mold, or the mold got flipped around somehow. Sir Dillon Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I could not find a previous discussion about this here, but there is one on Classic-Castle: [link] Quote
Steel Dragon Posted January 10, 2010 Author Posted January 10, 2010 Ok, so it seems to be common, but not deliberate? Thank you everyone! We could continue discussion, I s'pose. Quote
