Sir Tsaboc Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Well, this is my entry to the Cosmic Conflicts contest at Brickforge, and it got some really good reviews, so here you go. Skirmish on Exynnia A small squadron of space marines (269, 082, 081, and 144) were dispatched to the dense forest world of Exynnia, to stop the war mongering race of Exynnians from harvesting Mortu Mushrooms. Having the ability to thrive for thousands of years, Exynnians have acquired incredible intelligence, and they utilize the Mortu Mushrooms in their scientific campaign to make Exynnians a cyborg race. If they are not stopped, they could declare war on neighboring worlds with devastating effects. While on their mission, Exynnians killed three of four space marines, and only marine 269 remains alive. Now he is in the fight for his life.
