Athos Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) I smurfed up an interior for the Cafe Corner's first floor: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/...57623148781814/ Steve Edited January 6, 2010 by SmurfCop Pic added in post Quote
sens1992 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 This is a great addition to a one of my favorites set. It gives the main floor an athmosphere and makes it look like a little bistro. Too bad LEGO did not go for an interior with that set. I am sure glad you did! Quote
quietworkshop Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I especially like the meat that's on the grill! (is that what it is? Looks like burgers cookin!) Also, the dark red elevated floor in the booth is nice. My Cafe Corner has four-stories with two levels on each. Needless to say I have not yet even began thinking of tackling the interior! Maybe someday :) Quote
Svelte Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Nice work! Great to see an official-looking interior for the 'ole 10182 Surprisingly few have shown us their interior decoration. I love the booths especially Quote
Rick Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I love the booths especially Yeah, those are really nice. So simple, but the color scheme is perfect. Quote
wooootles Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 That grill is fantastic, as well as the seat arrangement. The empty space in CC is really a lot smaller than it looks when you try to put a bar/cafe inside it, and I think you did a swell job. Gives me inspiration with my future plans for my empty CC Quote
Milan Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I smurfed up.... Nice and tidy. I would replace that yellow bar with something else. It looks like it does not fit there. Grill is awesome! Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Nice interior 'Musketeer Smurf' - good work ! Anybody for jumbo carrots ? 'Please Sir I want some more ?' Oliver - Oliver Twist Quote
ACCURATEin Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Your interior work is fabulous! Good job. Quote
Athos Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 Thanks for all the kind words. I especially like the meat that's on the grill! (is that what it is? Looks like burgers cookin!). Nothing on the grill yet. I think it just looks that way because I put trans-red and trans-orange under the grills. Surprisingly few have shown us their interior decoration. Really? I figure this would be pretty much old hat by now. The empty space in CC is really a lot smaller than it looks when you try to put a bar/cafe inside it, It is very small. The booth-bench nearest the front, though you can't see it in the pictures doesn't have a back. I would replace that yellow bar with something else. It looks like it does not fit there. I agree. I think I'm just going to take the whole thing out. Maybe put in a beverage set-up... Steve Quote
AndyC Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) I'm lovin'it. My CC is still as empty as the day I got it, but that's got me thinking it may be time to give it some decor! Edited January 6, 2010 by AndyC Quote
prateek Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I love the grill and the wooden benches! Great job 7 Quote
escortmad79 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I would replace that yellow bar with something else. It looks like it does not fit there. Something like one of these gates may work better: Quote
Athos Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 Now comes the question of the day: Do I put a bathroom in the second and third floor? I don't really want to modify the structure to put rooms on each floor. But at the same time, to not have a bathroom seems incomplete. And leaving just one big room on each floor just doesn't seem right. Any suggestions? Steve Quote

escortmad79 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Could always build a shower room instead of a bathroom if space is an issue? Shower would take up less space than a bath tub Quote
