Hello.

I'm from Poland. I'm a fan of LEGO since 1992 when I got my first System set on my birthday (it was a small police car). I got a lot of bricks from my elder siblings, though (mostly basic blocks). I started more seriously collecting sets around 1996, but I wasn't really concentrating on one particular theme at the time, and just "impulsively" bought sets that caught my eye at the shop, usually. Thanks to that, I have a pretty large variety of useful pieces now. Although my collection is really miniscule compared to some of the people's I've seen online. I became a big fan of Adventurers when the theme came out in 1998, and got almost the entire line of the Dino Island in 2000. I have also always liked the Castle sets, although I'm not really fond of anything that came out after 2000 in that regard... Unfortunately, I'm too young to remember when the Classic Castle was in its full glory (I don't really consider Dragon Masters, Royal Knights or the Fright Knights as part of Classic Castle; I don't even think their generally labeled as such, as I believe the term "Classic Castle" applies only to sets from before 1993), and barely have several used minifigs from that era. I'm looking forward to the new Kingdoms line next year, as it looks very promising.

I've never really had a dark age, at least in the sense of "throwing the bricks down the basement"; as I recall, I never really stopped playing with LEGO (at least occasionally). But I did kind of lose interest in new sets around 2001, when I saw all that new <insert that tiresome argument> rubbish, like Jack Stone, Bionicle etc. I also dislike the current trend of LEGO having so many licensed sets (especially when it's some stupid kids' cartoon; I mean, come on! How could you stoop so low, TLG?!)... although I'm looking forward to the PoP because of the new useful pieces. Now I'm getting interested for the new sets again.

My favourite themes:

- Adventurers

- Castle (NOT including KK2; KK1 wasn't THAT bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as anything before it, either)

I don't think I'll be able to post any pictures of my MOCs or anything (I don't have a digital camera), but you're not going to regret it, trust me; there's nothing really worth looking at there (my best MOC would probably be a functional brown bear built for minifig scale). :sadnew:

Sorry for a long and boring introduction. Luckily, nobody's going to read it, probably, anyway...

Hi.

I've never done a review before, and I don't think I'm going to even try, as it would most likely suck (and I don't even have the boxes or instructions for my old sets).

There is a little creation I maybe would like to share, maybe I will, maybe I'll not... I'll just leave it at that. :sadnew:

Cześć Morsie!

Nie bój się nie jesteś jedynym Polakiem, o nie!

Ja też uwielbiam Castle, a najbardziej Trolle, skąd jesteś?

Swoją drogą zgodzę się co do Licencjonowanych setów, ale fanem Bionicle nadal jestem!

Greetings ;]

Uhh... I don't think that's a good idea... Anyway, I just realised I have a certain set built that hasn't been reviewed here! I'll see what I can do...

A police car, eh?

Not this one, is it? This was MY first set.

No, an earlier one. I just found it.

In Polish:

Boring introduction? No chance. :sweet:

This is a detailed introduction and those favourite themes of yours happened to be some of mine favourite too. Looking forward to see you participating in our forums.
