Tereglith Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I have this board game from wa-a-ay back when Bionicle started, the "Quest for Makuta Adventure Game" in a collector's tin. I think it still has all the pieces. I never actually played it. So I'm wondering, is it still worth anything today, and if so, how much, or should I just throw it out? Space is tight in my room, and it's a fairly big tin that's taking up shelf space better used for books. If anybody knows how much it's worth, please tell me. Thanks. Quote
Tereglith Posted December 23, 2009 Author Posted December 23, 2009 Unfortunately, that requires (1) an understanding of its extraordinarily complex rules and (2) someone else willing to play it with me. Quote
Natman8000 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I had that game and it was terrible. Dont open it, give it away or throw it our. Not worth anybody's time if you ask me. Quote
ShaddowCroc Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I used to have that game, and I really enjoyed it. Though if you're not interested in playing it, I'd suggest checking how much it goes for on Bricklink and sell it through there. If that fails, then giving it away would be less of a waste of just throwing it out. Quote
Cap'n Kopaka Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Despite the complex rules, it's extremely fun to play if you can find anybody else to do so with you. I don't think it would sell for much, though, I checked eBay about a year ago when I planned to sell my own and I'm pretty sure it's just worth ~$15 USD. I say hold onto it and see if the price rises because of nostalgic fans or sell it if you don't value it all that much. ~cap'n Quote
Aanchir Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I really loved the game not only for its gameplay but for its contents. Giant map of Mata Nui? Trendy-looking Toa markers? Nifty tiles with little Rahi carvings? Multi-sided dice? Totally awesome. No idea what you should do with it. No idea what kind of collectors would want it or what they'd pay for it. If you're an artistic type, I'm sure there's some things that you could make with the various components, but of course best first to investigate what sort of price you can get for the game in its entirety. Hope you can find something to do with it; I'd hate to see that game go to waste. Quote
prateek Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Well, your kinda just stuck with it, unless you would want to sell it for $10. Quote
