hewkii9 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I will drop my impressive, Brobdingnagian, and semi-superfluous vocabulary to speak frankly here. I suspect Lois has ulterior motives. With no basis in concrete proof, she tries to influence the town's police force. I won't say scum, that's a very dangerous word to say [and I know my words], but I'm suspicious.
JCC1004 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 How do you know that the mod has been in Stapleton for years?? You guys have been saying they've been here a while. I believed you guys. But if that's the case how did those who said the mob has been here for awhile know?

I'm sorry I was joking around Christopher, I really am. I'll stop now, if you'd like.
brickme Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Where's that doctor around here? I've got a serious headache and need some help.
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Where's that doctor around here?I've got a serious headache and need some help. It's probabley the stress of everyone screaming about the scum. Go and have a rest. Come back when you feel better.
Big Cam Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Sorry, gene. But I'm sure your uncle John is really proud of you! I mean, you're both cops, how cool is that?! The listing explains it all. I'm John, my brother is Christopher and our uncle is Gene.
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Once we have ended searching for everyones family, which seems to be the brunt of the conversation at the moment, we need to discuss the fact that we are in danger. There are traitors to the town among us, and I want them captured. I will not have my family in danger again.

Did you get a good look at the robbers?
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Yes, on the matter of the robbery....Can you give me any specifications? Did you get a good look at the robbers? Sadly no. Their faces were masked. One was resonably tall, the other slightly shorter. I am afraid that is the best I can do. I was more concerned with the safety of my wife and customers.

We can only assume the same people responsible for the robbery were involved with the murders.

Aren't you forgetting about the children, whom are somewhat smaller than us adults?
Big Cam Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Aren't you forgetting about the children, whom are somewhat smaller than us adults? As that is a possibility, I highly doubt children are pulling off complex planned robberies.
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Very curious, especially since in Stapleton we are all the same size.We can only assume the same people responsible for the robbery were involved with the murders. Maybe they were wearing a hat? Making them seem taller, or they had on of those fancy hair styles. I fear that may be true. I don't want any more murders. I love this community, it horrors me to think there could be traitors among us. Lois, I highly doubt that our children are in on the murders and the robberies. The height difference wasn't that dramatic.

The height difference wasn't that dramatic. Which means that the second one could be a woman. Women are generaly shorter than men. Was Lucy present while the robbery was commencing? Where was Lucy? Where were the dancers?
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Which means that the second one could be a woman. Women are generaly shorter than men.Was Lucy present while the robbery was commencing? Where was Lucy? Where were the dancers? Lucy did not commit the Robbery. She was with me the whole time. I am afraid I have no idea of the Dancer's whereabouts at the time.

I was simply establishing that not everyone in town is the same height.
hewkii9 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Here you go, Lois, stirring up troubles... May I remind you that disruption of the public order is a civic offense?
The Crazy One Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Did I ever say that they robbed the bank? No, I did not. I was simply establishing that not everyone in town is the same height. I apologise. I misunderstood.
Luke McAwesome Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Here you go, Lois, stirring up troubles...May I remind you that disruption of the public order is a civic offense? Take it easy, Sparky, we have nothing better to do but talk among ourselves while we wait till the time comes to take a vote. Plus, with no leads, we can't do anything, and we may have to make a random vote today. I apologise. I misunderstood. No problem, I understand.

Plus, with no leads, we can't do anything, and we may have to make a random vote today. Or, we will have to act on how people have acted today, in any case, I don't like doing either.
Inconspicuous Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Where's that doctor around here?I've got a serious headache and need some help. It's probabley the stress of everyone screaming about the scum. Go and have a rest. Come back when you feel better. I think he's right. A glass of water and some rest would probably do the trick. I apologize for my lack of participation. Right now we have no leads, and even though pointing fingers may be distracting, it may be the only way to learn anything.
Sandy Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Hmm, the way the crowd is acting up today, I'll say things will get very "interesting" once we get to the voting. People, might I remind you that we need to keep our heads cool when the time comes to vote. We don't want hasty and rash accusations to throw us into convicting wrong people. I think a review of what has happened in Stapleton is in order: Apparently a few nights ago, the mob boss Tony (who ran an illegal liquor business) killed our honored judge, who I knew well from my work. The Bureau of Investigation caught up with him, gunning him down, but someone else must have succeeded him by now. Last night, the BOI was investigating what seems to be the mob's hideout, but an agent and two police officers were killed. We do not know what happened to the BOI agent that went in to investigate. However, it is evident that the mob is desperate, killing the influential people left to oppose them every chance they get. That is why I feel myself extra-vulnerable in this situation, having opposed Tony and his scum before. I plead for your cooperation, Stapletonians. Let's nail the bastards as fast as possible. The only way we can do that is to get a conviction every day, and get it right. We must be suspicious of not those who vote hastily, but those who hold back or refuse to vote with the majority.

We musn't forget the robbery. I am sure it is the same bastards behind it. I think that's were it really started, 2 weeks ago. I don't fear as much for myself as my family. I don't want it happening again. Andrew was lucky enough to be at school at the time of the robbery, but he was only half an hour off. It would destroy me if they were harmed.
Ricecracker Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I still fail to see what the robbery has to do with the situation at hand. Sure, it might be the same people involved in both incidents, but since we can't identify, it's useless to us.

I was just alerting Mr. Right to the fact that there was a previous event probebly involving the mob in the timeline that he had missed.
