MOC: Cargo Plane

Here is my newest MOC, a cargo plane.

It is 6 studs wide, and has working doors, flaps and landing gear.

Rear working door, wheels retraction mechanism , you've put all the basic elements that a cargo plane should have. (Do you hear me TLG?)

Very cool looking brickbuilt aircraft, 'Yanzl'.

I love those retractable landing gear assemblies , a pitty Lego don't try and modify their aircraft body parts to take such things.

I like the way you hide the main landing gear like in a real cargo plane The overall size is great too.

It's large enough to get major details that TLG was not able to put in oversized plane.

That's a pity that TLG has not allow to put retractable landing gear. TLG should have put a hole in their nose part.

The rear door is fun too. I think I will try to make a plane like yours to carry my Smart-like Car.

LegoLink, yes inside is minifig scaled, you can fit about 3 minifigures inside (not in the cargo space).

I have always liked planes, and this one is no exception! It looks great, and is highly functional. The opening back and the retractable landing gear are nice, while the sliding side door is my favourite. That's just like the real airplane doors open.

looks awesome, however i feel that the plane is a little small, the rear door should be 6 wide

Nice work, what I love about this cargo plane is that they are actually made up of multiple parts, bricks, and pieces and not those huge <insert that tiresome argument> body and wing parts of the official TLG planes. Of course, the functions added (retractable landing gears, sliding doors, rear cargo ramp) are absolutely great. If it were a bit larger and a couple of decals it would have been perfect, but it is still great as it is. Very well done Yanzl!

Very nice work. Looks like you can drive a small 4 wide vehicle up the back ramp.
