Hello. Sorry I havn't been on lately, but I had alot of schoolwork.

Anyways, at school, we have a class called Technology where we learn about inventions and machines. Today, we used LEGOs to build levers.

These sets were in a small, rectangular box, about 8-9 inches long by 5-6 inches wide by about 2 inches deep. The box was yellow and had a clear plastic tray. It contained (I cannot remember how much of each brick and what) about 4 long technic beams, a few small 1x2, 1x4 and 1x6 technic beams, some black and grey connrectors, some 2x2 plates and tiles, a few 1x2 tiles, and (This is the important one) A black brick 6 or 8 studs long, 2 studs wide, and 2 studs high. It was a heavy brick because it had a weight in it.

Out of 15 sets, about 7 sets were incomplete without this box. I wanted to help my teacher so I searched on Brickset.com and on Bricklink.com. No luck.

If you can, can you please help me find a dealer that sells these bricks or sets? That would be appreciated

I'm fairly sure the piece you are referring to is the boat weight, available on some older sets. I have no idea what set it would from, at least not from what you are talking about, though it could be from any of those Dacta sets. I hope this helps!

Just klick on "This Part Appears In:22 Sets (View Them)" in the link provided and you'll see the sets it came in.

I just realized that the weight came in red as well. Wow. Didn't know that. :look:

Hi guys

ive recently inherited 12ks of lego, amongst them was the following part, ive trawled through various sites but i dont see it listed or pictured anywhere. its from the pat pend era so i cant look up a part number unfortunately. This part is very heavy at the cylinder bit, seem like it could be a counterweight or something of that ilk.

hopefully someone out there can recognise it !

thanks !
