xwingyoda Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Guys here is a pic of the Stealth Wasp, set 7700's alternate model !!!! I think the whole model looks really great BUT the construction is way too unstable and fragile !!! (especially the front part) Here are pics in not wasp attack pattern: Here are pics of the beast ready to sting hehe: Enjoy ;) Quote
Deinonychus Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Yep...that definatly looks better then the mech it's supposed to be...shame about the instability in the front though |:| Quote
Cutty Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 So why doesn't TLC release a genuine LEGO-space theme with such designs? But with a seriously reduced amount of form/fin parts)... Was this built following the instructions I saw earlier on BrickShelf? Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 Cutty you mean those instructions ?? I did, except the front part where I based it on the pic of the box ;) Quote
snefroe Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 that's way better, it reminds me of a model i've seen either in a film or on brickshelf... Quote
xenologer Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Very Pretty but judging from the instructions, as you say it is very flimsy, quite a shame considering how much I like to 'swoooosh!' my lego spaceships Looks to me like the main weak point is the stack of bricks at the rear of the cockpit. Any chance of using the technic beams from the set to crossbrace them? And I think that there are lots of Snot brackets from the legs on the mech, maybe some more of those could be added to help hold the cockpit sides on? Quote
The Hordesman Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 that's way better, it reminds me of a model i've seen either in a film or on brickshelf... Same here... I think Ive seen something like it in Gundam Seed, or is just the spikes the back that confuses me. This is really cool, yet I know what Im gonna build out of it, found a great concept art. ;) Im very interested in these devices, especially since its vital information for my sidestory. :) Quote
xenologer Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 How do you guy's intepret the 'arms' and 'nose' with the black technic pins? (on the bottom of the cockpit) I assumed they were guns at first, but maybe I'm wrong and they're actually just landing gear, or some kind of engine nozzles. Maybe needs a vote? Quote
rew12 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I did, except the front part where I based it on the pic of the box The front shown on the pic of the box looks better. (My opinion) Quote
Dino_Bot Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 That's a neat looking ship, I'd get this guy just to build THAT. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Was it really necessary to revive this 5-month old topic for that? Quote
Dino_Bot Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Holy smokes! I'm sorry, I didn't notice it was that old!!! Quote
