Hello all!

I've been working on a series of post-apocolyptic zombie survival MOCs, with a good amount of violence portrayed (zombie's impaled on spikes, zombies being decapitated, etc...) but without the depiction of blood. I recently found a lot of trans-red tiles and plates, so here is my question:

In zombie/post-apoc MOCs, should blood be depicted by bricks/decals? And if so, should it be a realistic red color, or a more fictional trans-light-green or lime?

Thanks in advance,

Steel Dragon

First off I don't think it's the wrong forum.

When it comes to color I think it's up to you although I think red would go for a more realistic tone on Earth while green would be good for a space/zombie MOC.

Trans red plates work very well if they can be layered into floors (especially effective on flat ones).

If you ant little bits of blood then red plumes are often an easy way of adding bleeding

When I depict blood, zombie or otherwise, It's usualy red. I only use weird colors for aliens. even if your zombies are radioactive or something, I would go for red, because people will be able to tell instantly that it's blood. in adition to what the rancor says you can use red snakes and cherries to depict organs and other juicy details

~Insectoid aristocrat (would have trans blue or trans neon green blood methinks)

Hmmm.. Good question Steel Dragon! :classic:

I prefer using a combination of trans-red with red (Although a lot more trans-red) for blood, unless it is alien in which case I'd use green or blue.

But it's really up for you

Also it depends how much you use depending on the scene some need lots some need not so much, And some just look better with plain red instead of a transparent colour, but that is up to you.
