Thunder-blade Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) Flickr Page (includes more pics) Not really a "Historic" theme, but it didn't fit with Star Wars... An entry to the Gladiator Contest. I tried to incorporate many different techniques in this MOC, SNOT, greebles, and angled bricks. Enjoy! Edited December 7, 2009 by Thunder-blade Quote
Sir Dillon Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 A good looking showdown! Both the figures look very cool, but I would have liked a slightly different pose from one of them, as the way they're mirroring each other now seems odd to me. This belongs in the Sci-Fi forum. Quote
Thunder-blade Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 Yeah, I messed up on the posing. Thanks for moving it! Quote
Commander Flash Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I like this little duel . The pose is off, but the angled bricks sure are great. The arena has a certain gladiator feel to it Quote
CommanderFox Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Wonderful Vig Thunder-blade I really like your mando's. The techniques used in this vig, are Insane! I really like all the SNOT and greebles, Im interisted in how you did the angling brick effect? Really well done and good luck in the contest! CommanderFox Quote
Thunder-blade Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Thanks for all the positive comments you guys! Quote
Forresto Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 This is EXCELLENT! I think the snot work is very well done. The tubing everthing is very well put together. This is very much, Greeble'd combat. My only suggestion is like what Sir Dillion said is to change their poses slightly, maybe even just their swords. It's not a problem but it might make for a little more action in the scene. Good job Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Great MOC, 'Thunder-Blade'. I like the bit where a blade has tasted blood, really good realism ! I like it ! Quote
