Orange Rhino Bird

main.jpg

front.jpg_thumb.jpg back.jpg_thumb.jpg

A small bird known for its constant appetite and spiky orange plumage. I made this MOC a while ago (and sent it to BrickCon in October), but I've only just gotten round to photographing them properly now.

Is this what you were talking about a couple months back [i think it was you] about using Orange Mahritoran blades, because they're dirt cheap on BL? :P

Anyway this MOC is well built. The gap is a little nuisance, but it's fine. I really like the cartoonish look and the use of flextubes, in both the "spine" and the beak. It's a silly crazy MOC, that uses parts well.

And nice pic and editing. So cleeean.

That was me, but that Moc is still WIP. (It's been 75% finished for months now. )

Very cute! Lots of clever parts usage here. My only complaint is that it appears to have only one foot. =P

But really, there wasn't much space for two feet. :sceptic:

This is great! Very striking. I'd love to see this expanded. It would make a great head on an even larger bird.

I might try that - thanks for the suggestion!

It looks silly on Hoothoot too. XP

Well, maybe there isn't room for two with that kind of foot, but maybe you could try something different?
