brickmack Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Wow. I knew about some of the functions, like the moving wheels, but I didnt know about the thing with the pop out lasers and stuff. I wish I had this. Quote
Cammy Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I've been looking for this set since Space Police came out, but I guess it never came out in any of my local stores. It's the last set I need to complete my Space Police collection (I'm including the sets I have on layby because I'll be picking them up eventually, they're safe now), and it also looks like one of the best sets in the series. There are no other large Space Police ground vehicles, and the only ones I'll have are the small ones that come with other sets. I'm disappointed they didn't make another set or two with wheels or tank treads, I really liked the wheeled and treaded vehicles in Mars Mission and got them all. The worst thing is I saw this set on eBay, still boxed for $25 AUD and no one bidded on it, and I forgot to bid myself! Quote
Artanis I Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 The worst thing is I saw this set on eBay, still boxed for $25 AUD and no one bidded on it, and I forgot to bid myself! =O oh no! & how did I miss it? I think it was $80AU (overpriced) but I bought it when it was released anyway. It's pretty cool, but I think it looks better in photos than in reality. I agree with a lot of the comments already made, I'd like to add this: on a hard smooth surface the wheels won't turn, on a too soft or uneven surface the body drags on the ground or gets caught. Medium-thin carpet is about all you can drive it on. Quote
Scurvy Lobster Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 My only real problem with this set is that the wheels are connected to the hull with so thin elements. I imagine them breaking within minutes of handing the car over to a kid. Quote
